Kendriya vidyalaya Sangathan KVS now published the recruitment notification for the various posts of TGT, PGT, PRT, and primary Teacher posts. Selection for each posts of TGT, PGT and PRT and Primary teacher posts will be strictly based on the written examination. KVS will hold an all India level open competitive written examination for each category of the posts. if you also applied for KVS posts then we would like to inform your very soon going central school organization will be published the written exam dates of all posts. Some of the important tips and trick, advice will be helpful for your better preparation for KVS examination.
1 : for PGT written exam : there will be two part in the question paper . Part 1 will be contains 40 objective type question and question of this section will be related to Hindi and English subjects specifically. All other will also conations a section of English and Hindi subjects and there will be cutoff marks for qualifying this part sectional wise as well as aggregately English and Hindi. Without qualifying this section your part II will not be evaluated and you will be disqualified.
So try hard for cracking Hindi as well as English section because if you applied more then one posts that definitely it would be helpful to cracking other paper also.
Part 2 will be based on the Current affairs, reasoning, Numerical ability, teaching mythology and subjects concern.
During the preparation of final only marks of part 2 will be added for the preparation of the merit. if you score well in part II of the written examination then it would be beneficial .
The weightage of written test (Part II) and interview will be 70:30
So if your 70 % will be good out of 100 then I think you can compete any one in this race .KVS focusing latest current affairs and latest national and international level issues during the drafting of the question paper. So I will advise to study at least one English and one Hindi news paper for better performance.
For the preparation of Reasoning Section you can use R.S. Aggarwal Book Named “A modern Approach to Verbal and non verbal reasoning” this is outstanding book for the preparation of reasoning section of KVS written examination .
For the best preparation in Numerical Ability and general knowledge / GS general awareness use lucent books. These books cover all objective question asked in previous year examination of KVS for TGT, PGT, PRT, and Primary teacher examination.
